You are now in the Content section. By default, you will see all created content listed in order, with the latest created drafts at the top. You can access the content manually in this list, by searching for it with keywords, accessing it by tagged collection, or sort by publishing status.

A list of the latest content will appear on the screen, along with page numbers on the button for navigation.
Clicking on the title or pencil icon will take you directly into that content item for editing.
Clicking on the chain icon on the right side will open up a screen for sharing access. You will have the option to share with a link or QR code, or you can open it up in your browser.
Accessing Content by Keyword Search
A search bar will also appear at the top of the content navigation screen.
You can type content title keywords to search for specific content.

You also have the option to sort content by publishing status. Several buttons indicating the different statuses will appear at the top.

Sorting Content by Collections
All created content in the Apollos Admin console can be tagged as part of a collection. We actually recommend doing this, as it enables you to pull this specific content as a part of a collection in your content feed later.
The Collections bar will appear to the left side of the screen. You can either scroll down or type use the search bar to find your collection. Once you click on the collection, a list of content tagged in that collection will appear to the right.
Creating Daily Content
To create new content, start by clicking on the “Create from blank” button in the upper right hand side of the screen.
Note: There is also a “Create AI” button. You can use this to have the content created for you. Please utilize the Creator Guide for more information on this tool.
Once you press the “Create from blank” button, you will begin with a blank canvas, as seen below:
Creating the Header
Clicking on “Add cover” will allow you to upload an image to display as the cover image at the top of your content screen.
Clicking on “Add media,” allows you to upload a video or audio file to play in a player at the top of your content screen, in lieu of an image banner. You can upload media in the following ways:
HLS Streaming URL
Youtube Link
Mp3 URL Link
Once completed, the content will appear in the app, as shown below.
General Content
In the content below the header, you can either manually type out the content, use AI to create it, or use custom built blocks of content.
Manually Typing - If manually typing, you can either copy/paste or write out your content. It will appear with standard formatting in the app.
AI Generated Content - Click on a blank space on the canvas. You’ll see the option to create either using AI (shown as a wand) or custom blocks (shown as a “+ / ”).
Click on the wand.
A prompt will appear asking you what you want to create. Utilize this prompt as you would ChatGPT to have it create content for you.
If you’d like to either use or reference other media/content as a part of this, click the “+” button. You can then upload a file or media link.

Buttons
By Clicking on the button option, you’ll be given a button block, as shown below:
Type what you want the button to say onto the actual button itself. Above the button, you’ll see the option to enter a URL. This is what the button will take them to.
On the right side of the URL, you’ll see a chain. Click on this to toggle between having the button open in the same window/tab or on a new window/tab. (For web version content).
Once the button is complete, it will appear in the app as shown below.
Event Block
Clicking on the Event Block option will bring up the block shown below:
Event Title and Time - Click on the top half of the block. This will bring up an additional window, in which you can enter the title of your event, the start time, and the end time. You can also toggle the All Day switch if the event lasts all day.
Address - Click on the bottom half. Here you can either enter the name of a place or an address.
When the block is live, the user will be able to add the event to their default calendar when clicking on the date section. When clicking on an address at the bottom, it will pull up their default gps app and give them directions.
Once complete, the content will show in the app as below.
Question Block
Utilizing the Question Block will allow you to insert a question into the canvas for user reflection. Once you make this selection, you’ll see the following box. You can then enter your question into the box itself.
After the script is written inside the question box, you have the option to highlight it and play with formatting, as well as insert a hyperlink.
Once the content is published, the question will appear in the app as shown below.
Scripture
Choosing this option allows you to insert a passage of Scripture as a block itself, rather than just paste the passage as regular text. Once you select this option, a box will appear for you to input details about the passage. Once this is completed and you click submit, the passage block will appear.
Be aware that the app may display the full passage if it is short. However, longer passages will only display a selection in this block, with the ability to expand it and read the entire thing.
See below for an example as published in the app.
Text
Selecting the text option will allow you to type in standard text. By highlighting the text, you can play with the formatting or insert a hyperlink.
Standard text in its default setting will appear in the app as shown below.
Heading 1, 2 and 3
This option will typically be used for website content when formatting your h1, h2, and h3 headings. However, you can also use it for standard formatting in the app to bring attention to important elements.
Once you have selected one of these options, you will see the cursor adjusts on the line to the size you’ve selected.
Headings 1, 2 and 3 will appear in the app as seen below
Bullet List or Numbered List
The Bullet List or Numbered List options will typically be used when typing out/formatting your own content for the web or app.
Clicking on either of these options works similarly to using the same option in a Word document or Google doc. It will create a single bullet or numbered list item. Pressing enter after the content for that list item is written will create the next bullet or numbered list item.
Bullet Lists and Numbered Lists will appear in the app as seen below.
Quote
This option allows you to create a blocked out quotation, giving it extra emphasis.
Once you select the option, the text switches to italics and the section is highlighted to the side. Write out your entire quote here.
Once published, it will appear as seen below in the app.
Image
This choice will allow you to select and upload an image to display in this section of the app. You’ll have several options from which you can pull the file.
Once published, the image will appear in the app as seen below.
Tagging and Filing Content Items
On the content item screen, you’ll also see a block of information to the right. Completing the items in this area allows you to control the content publishing schedule, tag it for topics with other content items, share a quick summary, enable user discussions, and file it with other related content.
We’ll cover each of these in more detail below.
Share
Clicking theShare button allows you to generate a link or QR code to share the content with others.
Publish Button
Clicking the green Publish button will publish the content immediately. If the content is linked to a specific content feed, it will then appear on that platform.
Publish
The Publish section allows you to schedule a time to publish the content to a feed later.
Expire
The Expire section allows you to schedule a time for the published content to expire. At this time, it will stop appearing in any applicable content feeds.
Tags
This section allows you to tag content by topic. This is a great tool for articles. The Apollos app supports a feature that lists the topics as tags, giving the user the ability to sort through articles (or other media) by their topic of choice.
Summary
This section generates a short summary of the content.
Engagement
This allows you to toggle user discussions on and off. If toggled on, the user will see a section in which they can comment at the bottom of this content piece.
Related Content
This section allows you to link the content item as a child or parent to other content items or to a collection.
Linking it as a child to a collection is the best way to file it away to appear in a major content feed. You’ll then be able to access it under that list on the main content page.
