Accessing Creator AI
Creator AI is primarily a tool to create content within the Apollos product line. As such, it can be accessed from the admin console.
Login to https://admin.apollos.app/ with your email address
Click on the Content icon on the navigation bar. This is found on the left side of the screen.
Click on the Creator AI button. This will take you into the Creator AI tool.
Creator AI Overview
When using Creator AI, you’ll notice a toggle in the top-right corner that lets you switch between two interfaces: Basic and Pro. Each mode offers a different way to create content.
BASIC MODE
Basic Mode is designed to let you create content quickly using free-form prompts or preset templates. It’s simple, clean, and helpful for quickly generating devotionals, discussion guides, articles, and more.
Prompting and Inputs
Think of the prompt bar like your church’s version of ChatGPT. You can:
Type a custom prompt
Or choose a suggested template:
Discussion Guide - Clicking on this will start your prompt with “Write a discussion guide for…” and you fill in the blank. It will create content with reflection questions for your group. You can even plug in sermons with the prompt and it will create the guide for you.
Interactive Notes - Clicking on this will start your prompt with “Create interactive notes about…”. Feed your sermon script to the prompt for some interactive notes. This tool will include summaries, fill-in-the-blank sections, Bible verses, etc. You can tweak it and have it in the Apollos app on Sunday morning.
Blog or Article - Clicking on this will start your prompt with “Write a blog post about…”. Want to save time for ministry and have our AI write your blogs? Creator AI has been trained on the right type of topics to help you win at this. Plug in the topic and any relevant information and watch it write away.
Daily Reflection - Clicking on this will start your prompt with “Create a daily reflection on…”. Many of us would love to have custom Daily Reflections under the Daily Habits tab, but it can take time. This tool allows you to feed it topics and create an array of Daily Reflections to use in the Daily Habits tab.
Videos, Images, or Documents
You’ll notice a “+” sign on the left side of the prompt box. You can use this to upload files (pictures and documents) and links to videos as attachments to your prompt.
Attaching these items to the prompt allows you to have Creator AI analyze the resource for information, then include this information in the output.
Imagine taking the YouTube link from your sermon each Sunday and attaching it here, then watching Creator AI provide sermon summaries, interactive notes, group discussion guides, blogs, and more. You could even attach the sermon script beforehand and have this done before Sunday even comes. All this is now possible with Creator AI.
Workflow
Once you submit a prompt:
You’ll get a generated draft with a “Look good?” box
Click Continue to move the content to the canvas for final editing
Or click Start Over to refine the prompt
PRO MODE
Pro Mode offers more structured content creation by letting you select a content type first. You’ll see three options:
1. Post
A Post is a single-page piece of content, ideal for devotionals, announcements, or short reflections.
How to Create:
Enter a prompt (e.g., “A short devotional on Psalm 23:1-3 about God as our Shepherd”).
Click Submit Prompt.
Creator AI generates the Output.
Below the Output:
Collection Dropdown: Choose where this Post will be saved.
Refresh Icon: Regenerate content from scratch.
Continue: Accept and proceed to the editing canvas.
2. Guide
A Guide is a collection of cards (like steps or discussion points) that users can swipe through. Ideal for discipleship tools or small group content.
Example Prompt:
“A 3-card guide on how to pray with scripture, including steps and a reflection question.”
How to Create:
Enter your prompt and click Submit.
AI generates a multi-card Outline.
Below the Outline:
Collection Dropdown
Refresh – try a new version
Original (dropdown) – Save original as a new draft
Continue – Go to the editing canvas
3. Plan
A Plan is a series of Guides designed to be followed over time, such as a 7-day devotional or a month-long discipleship journey.
Example Prompt:
“A 7-day devotional plan on building faith during difficult times.”
Additional Settings:
Recurrence (only visible for Plan):
Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Evergreen
Days: Select how long the plan lasts (1–365)
After Submission:
You’ll see an Outline of your Plan
You can:
Edit each step

Add new pages
Once you click Continue, the plan is generated in the background. You’ll see a notification confirming that the plan is being created.
