Basic Troubleshooting Steps for Mobile App Issues

If you encounter any issues while using the mobile app, try these basic troubleshooting steps:

Step 1: Force Close and Reopen the App

  1. Exit the app completely:

    • On iOS: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle. Find the app, then swipe it up to close.

    • On Android: Open the Recent Apps screen, locate the app, and swipe it away or tap Close.

  2. Reopen the app and check if the issue is resolved.

Step 2: Sign Out and Sign Back In

  1. Open the app and navigate to the Profile menu.

    • You’ll find it in the top-left corner of the screen, represented by a circular icon. This icon will either show your profile picture (if you’ve uploaded one) or your initials (if no picture is set).

  2. Tap Log Out.

  3. Completely close the app (refer to Step 1).

  4. Reopen the app and sign back in using your credentials.

Step 3: Uninstall and Reinstall the App

  1. Uninstall the app:

    • On iOS: Long-press the app icon on your home screen, tap Remove App, and then select Delete App.

    • On Android: Long-press the app icon, tap Uninstall, and confirm.

  2. Restart your mobile device (optional but recommended).

  3. Reinstall the app:

    • On iOS: Open the App Store, search for the app, and tap Get or Install.

    • On Android: Open the Google Play Store, search for the app, and tap Install.

  4. Open the app, sign in, and verify if the issue is resolved.
